Wave Star, which is the best known wave energy plant at Hanstholm – was launched almost 2 years ago… Tests are being performed and the ambitions for the future are great…
Another wave energy machine now also being tested off Hanstholm – is DEXA WAVE.
The DEXA WAVE’s test plant has been in the water since March 2011.
DanWEC – Danish Wave Energy Center, was establish May 2010 and is temporarily housed in a pavilion at the Roshage pier, with a view to the Wave Star and DEXA Wave test plants.
Your guided tour will start out from this pavilion.

Durability: 90 minutes.
Price: 50 DKK per person (max 22 persons per tour – by less than 6 participants the tour will be cancelled, and you will receive an email).
Group price: 1000 DKK (max 22 persons)
Payment to be made upon ordering – only possible on the internet from this web page.
When you receive an email with your receipt, the order has been registered.
Meeting point: Roshage pier at the DanWEC info pavilion 15 minutes before start
Remember to dress according to weather conditions – we will walk out on the pier.
